Anyone been working on any projects lately?

I've kind of fallen off the game making horse, but I'm planning to start riding again soon if I can find some time.

I'm going to be on that horse soon. For the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) competition that's coming up, I'm going into a Computer Game and Design competition. heck yeah! Gotta make a game real fast though, and so that's pretty awesome.

They didn't have that category when I was in FBLA!  Lucky, hahaha.
Very cool AD!  Are you making it with Game Maker?  What's the topic?

I competed in Desktop Application Programming and made it to Nationals when I was in FBLA.
I studied C# and wrote a program in a week or two that allowed a user to maintain and add to a list of members of some imaginary organization.  Much duller than a game, but still fun to program.

Best of luck to you sir!  I'm sure you'll do great.

Because of the recent snow we've had, the competition has been pushed back a week. Pretty good for me. gives me more time to make it! And yes, I am making it with Game Maker. I'm a bit rusty, but I don't forget all that code in just 1 year you know  :^.^:

And nice! I think you told us about that when it happened? I can't fully remember.

Cool!  Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you though.  Edutainment has always been lackluster.  Best of luck.

I haven't made a game in awhile. I've moved more to web-development.  Especially since I now am only using Chrome OS (mainly) or Ubuntu (secondary).  Though I may start back up once Enigma is complete.

yeah. I'd happily collab on something... If you'd fancy doing that, in Game Maker though obviously. I've seen you're recent facebook status' about xna/unity

 I'm creating an ERPG (Ephemeral Role-Playing Game). So far it's great. I seriously want to get it done before I start college this year.

Update: I'll probably post a brief video trailer soon.
