This is about as far as I have got with individual games pages. It is currently very basic and will not fully represent the final version. Anyway, new features so far:

- Separate User and staff ratings
- Multiple Screenshots will be allowed
- Although currently not possible in version that is up but you will be able to switch between screenshots by clicking thumbnails.
- You will be able to view a large screenshot by clicking the main screenshot or a full size button
- Screenshot captions
- You will have the ability to link blogs to games

I think we some how need to jazz up and reorganize it a little so opinions welcome or concept drawings. I am quite happy with the screenshots bit as it is so if you do draw concept try to keep it the same for the screenshots and the little box enclosing them. Also we need to decide on how to present comments/ descriptions/staff reviews. I was thinking of using a tab system of sorts eg. Description\Comments\Staff Review\Developer Blog

And then having it when you click one of the headings the desired info loads. Please share any thoughts and concepts.

Thanks.

I'll probably get around to drawing up a suggestion. . . eventually.

Looking good Ben. Keep up the good work

I think the tab idea is an interesting one, but how about putting them on the right side?

Like so?

My reasoning being that if the tabs are at the top, it will require more scrolling. And if anything ticks me off, it's having to scroll more then necessary  >:(

Except not really, but you get my point.

Not everyones screen is big enough to compensate for tabs up there. Like mine for example. There could be jump buttons that jump down the page for you though.

Well, I had a go at a possible way to get tabs and all that jazz in there, and here's the result:

So yeah, some things could definitely be improved on, like how the stats are displayed, but this is just a rough draft, so yeah.

The reason there could be multiple creator descriptions is because of the possibility of colabs. It would be a neat little feature if all the people who helped could then give their individually commentary.
The little arrow at the top is for people to "turn pages".

I actually really like your mockup Kin. I'm not too keen on some things such as the scrollbar. I intended to have comments and description and reviews in a box below and tabs linking to them/making them visible. Anywho, there could still be a spot for Developer Comments where your scroll bar. And if each collab member could have their "Dev comments" there too it again would be a nice feature. I'll think over this. This would mean descriptions would be about the game only. The developer comments could be the devs final feelings on the project etc. So yeah I'm thinking all this over.

Ok, my suggestion isn't all that different from the others I guess.  Just some minor tweaks.

Overview, and Colonel Mustard says hi.

Close-up on screenshot and info section.  I just realized that I never included "Genre" anywhere, so that'll have to be added, and you may want to reorganize some things (like putting the Description tab above Reviews, and putting the team logo above the uploading member), and I probably shouldn't have drawn this in pen, but at least the first two items can be changed.

Comments.  I was having a little fun with the dialog.

VERY rough sketch for the reviews tab.  Needs work, but that can probably done without more drawings. . . right?

Somethings I noticed: A lot of important information seems far down out of view. I'm not sure about the tabs being side on and how easy they'd be to read. Maybe icons that show text when you however over them in a bubble. Also I think you missed out the screenshot captions.

Also I don't think we will allow memeber reviews. It'll be a special group of reviewers that anyone can join but they are tested on the qaulity of their review.

I think it should be as it is on YouTube...
Like that:

Screenshots
Rating and downloads
Description
Reviews
Comments
Large download button

And each of those can be minimized and open by clicking.

What.
Oh well, I can see how that will weed out crappy reviews, but I'm not sure I like it.

I'm sorry but looking at Yoyogames is a clear indication that letting anyone write reviews just does not work. Therefore anyone who wants to write reviews should be tested on the quality of their written communication and the actual length of reviews.

Example of what we don't want:

Examples of what we would want:
http://www.yoyogames.com/reviews/show/18294

And I'm probably not the only one who does that. I think we could just have a set of rules when it comes to reviews, and any that break those rules will simply get deleted. That way, we solve for bad reviews and get to keep the best ones. Everyone is happy  :)

And have a system for rating reviews.  "Was this review helpful?", and then automatically organize reviews with the most helpful on top, with the option to sort by date. Quite a few 'reviews by everyone' sites follow that system and it works pretty well.
